Vickie and Josh talk about a successful self publishing adventure, and interview Michael Boyle and Randy Crane about their new book, On New Turf.
From Vickie:
I spent the last few weeks formatting a book for Michael Boyle and Randy Crane and they wanted the book cover based off a painting by Gerry Squires. Being married to a graphic designer really came in handy and Josh Morgan did a great job on the cover design.
The book went live on Amazon yesterday and it's #1 in Troubles in Ireland, #3 in Irish biographies and #5 bestseller in Immigration and Emigration.
I can't guarantee anyone will have a bestseller on Amazon when you work with us but I can say all of the books we've published were in the top 10 hot new releases or on the bestseller lists including the ones I wrote. That's just stats.
I have a degree in marketing HOWEVER I heavily rely on the principles of the law of attraction to guide writers to success. Going half assed and not believing in your own dreams gets you nowhere.
I'm working on a new book and video workshop series for self publishing at the moment although I'm open to new clients who have completed or are close to completing their manuscript and require one on one consultations. I provide assistance and guidance on formatting, cover design, uploading, ISBNs, author profile setup, KDP profile setup, tax interviews, category and keyword selection for search engine optimization (SEO) and I have loads of advice for launching, readings, signings and marketing.
Full disclosure. It's more expensive than doing it on your own. It can be done 100% for free if you want to learn all of it yourself.
Working with me and Josh to publish your book does not come with guarantees or promises. You get out what you put in. There's that law of attraction thing again. Self publishing is a viable, reliable source of passive income. You have work to do to get there but it's so worth it. Think of it as a business card that introduces your awesomeness to the world. If they like you after they read your book, you will probably have a fan/friend/client for life.
Anyway congratulations to Michael Boyle on his bestseller and FIRST published book. He's 82 by the way. So what's holding YOU back?
